A flange installer needs to master the following skills:
Drawing reading ability (being able to read piping drawings);
Tool usage (proficient operation of wrenches, torque wrenches, etc.);
Sealing techniques (correctly installing gaskets to prevent leaks);
Safety procedures (following work procedures, such as diagonally tightening bolts);
Foundation measurement (flange alignment and clearance checks).
Reason: To ensure sealing performance, pressure resistance, and system stability.
A flange installer also needs to possess material knowledge (familiarity with the characteristics of flanges made of different materials, such as the pressure resistance differences between carbon steel and stainless steel), pressure testing experience (mastering pressure testing procedures), and skills in adapting custom parts (such as handling non-standard flanges).
